Christmas morning in Etrétat
The Danish Welcome - One "skål" after the other, the four of us were joyously welcomed to Denmark. It was the day of the Haumann family Christmas dinner, and we had arrived just in time! Upon entry into Nina and Jesper’s cozy cottage, we unknowingly (and eagerly) signed up for all three rounds of a Copenhagen Christmas extravaganza. By the time we had barely finished the starter-salmon (and fourth schnapps), the next stop on the tour was in action. Boots on, bikes ready, all generations of Haumanns set off for the next meal. Course to course, we went from Haumann house to Haumann house, ending the night with dessert (and more dessert drinks) here at Oscar's. It was quite the kick-off to Copenhagen (let alone to the rest of the trip) with such a happy family. Many thanks for all the skåls and laughs of December 26th - because of you, a part of us will always be Danish.
Nina and Jesper's precious twins - Milla & Chili!
Storm, chillin' with a dino.
A week with the Nilssons - As promised nearly a year ago, Cal and I hit up Sweden to bring in 2014. Everyone should experience a celebration like the Swedes. Cheers for all the new and old friends :) See you soon, Jen!

The Basel-Mulhouse slumber party.
Somewhere, Germany - "Words cannot express how articulate I feel."
The holiday wrapped with ten of the best hip-hoppin thrift-shopping days with Anneliese. Such a special friend who flew all the way from NYC. I can't wait to discover which furs we'll find, which crowds we'll surf, or which Davids we'll instax next.
